Top Single Strollers

There's no one-size-fits-all stroller. However, there are models that cross the categories of full-size, strollers and travel items.

The Colugo is easy to fold with just one hand and comes with a carry strap at the back. This allows you to easily carry it around, or gate check it if the overhead bins are full.

TAVO Next

The TAVO Next is a light stroller that is able to accommodate modern parents. It folds with one hand, stands upright for storage and comes with plenty of compatible accessories--including a bassinet stand, baby snack tray, rain cover and wheeled travel bag (sold separately) to give you everything you need in a single stroller.

Nuna's best-selling TAVO is now available in a brand new version that features several clever improvements to increase the comfort and convenience. The TAVO Next is lighter thanks to a an improved foldaway axle and a new spring suspension. The 2021 TAVO comes with more storage space and a five-position footrest that can be adjusted and a luxe leatherette accents on the armbar.

The TAVO Next also features a smart, self-guiding, magnetic buckle that secures itself into place and makes harnessing easier than ever. This is a major selling point for parents as it can be difficult to keep a child's limbs in a harness. The TAVO has an oversized Sky smart UPF50+ canopy with multiple vents and windows that provide the most extreme sun protection. It also has an all-season seat which can be removed to reveal the mesh that is breathable in hot weather.

The TAVO Now is the first stroller from Nuna's PIPA series to transform into a travel system in one click. No adapters are required. Combine it with the Nuna Pipa Aire infant car seat to create a sleek and convenient Travel System.

Baby Jogger City Select 2

The City Select 2 stroller was released in the summer of 2021, replacing the previous City Select and City Select Lux strollers. It has 24 different seating options, and can be converted into a triple stroller by adding an incline board. ( single buggy with buggy board  and car seat are sold separately). The stroller is a quarter of a pound lighter and weighs less than previous models. It also comes with a fantastic selection of accessories including an abdominal bar (included in the Eco Collection version), the second seat, a handmuff and console for the parent.

The large storage basket could accommodate a lot of gear. They also appreciated how easily the seats reclined and that there plenty of legroom for both kids. The brake pedal is easy to access and can be operated with one hand. The stroller is bigger and more difficult to maneuver, but is worth it for parents who prefer spacious strollers.

The City Select 2 is also compatible with Baby Jogger infant car seats, Britax, Graco Chicco, Maxi-Cosi and Graco (adapters are sold separately). This means that you can choose to use a single or a double stroller for your child from birth to the age of toddler.

This stroller is not cheap but it's probably the only stroller you'll have to purchase so if you can afford it we think it's worth the cost. This is especially true when you consider the quality and durability of the design. The finish is stunning and the fabric connections are sturdy without being broken or twisted. The 5-point harness snaps easily, has a few adjustments and is comfortable to wear for children of all sizes. The seat cover is machine washable with cold water and most testers said it was super easy to remove and then reattach.

Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

If you're looking for a double travel stroller that's easy to carry and can fit into tight places it's the Delta Children LX Side by Side is a great choice. This stroller weighs 20 pounds and has seats that accommodate children up to 50 pounds each. The canopy is large enough to shield against the elements of wind, sun and rain, while the seats recline for kids to feel comfortable. The stroller is a little smaller than the majority of strollers in our test, and it can be opened to a width of 29 inches that allows it to pass through standard 30'' doorways.

This product earned a low score for user-friendliness in our test, but that's partly due to its lack of features: There are no storage bins or a deep recline in the seats, and the only cup holder is a small plastic container on the handlebars. It does have a 5-point harness with double-rethread buckles which are easier to adjust than single-rethread buckles that are found on many other strollers.

During the tests, we assessed the ease with which we could maneuver, turn, and fold the products. Travel strollers typically have limited space in the trunk of cars, so folding and unfolding them is essential. The strollers that fold easily and take only a few steps scored better and also those with automatic locks. Strollers that fold using one hand and stand upright when folded scored high.

The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 was the easiest to push and turn. The Mountain Buggy Nano took a little more effort, but did well in our tests. The new Delta Children LX side by side is extremely light and has a a folding framework that's almost compact as some of best umbrella strollers. Its simple design and budget-friendly price make it a great option for parents seeking a travel jogger that is easy to lift, carry and store.
